Small, Safe, Secure
At HOPE for Hyndman Charter School (HHCS) we are a trifecta every learning environment strives to achieve -- small, safe and secure. We are a hub of our Hyndman region and we are proud to serve our beloved community in abundant ways.
HHCS -- soon to be Hyndman Charter School -- puts the ‘unity’ in community. We believe in supporting our local region with K-12 public education that engages every student on their personal learning journey. At our close-knit, creative, and nurturing school, our students are recognized for who they are and how they learn. We proudly send our students off to post-secondary education, empowered for lives as productive members of society -- ready for college, career and life.
Community School
Our community school allows every student to shine and thrive -- pursuing their interests and academic dreams via a truly personalized, unique education. We have high academic achievement, robust music offerings and summer enrichment programs. Our older students/upperclassmen access classes that interest them (online, Vo Tech and dual enrollment) and the littlest students join grade level subject matter classes where they best learn.
We believe in nurturing and fostering our students’ academic and social emotional growth. Our caring, creative learning environment is small in size but great in purpose; we strive to meet every individual child’s needs -- holistically.
Respectful School Culture
We encourage top down creativity in learning and in how we support every student -- which includes supporting their families. Our community culture is based on respect and treating everyone we encounter as our partners -- from Nurse Terry to our fire department rescue squad to our school counselor who finds all the valued scholarships -- to our high caliber and highly prized K-12 teachers.
By keeping class sizes small, HHCS meets each student where they are. Every student blossoms with individualized attention, fostering independence, and a lifelong love of learning. Every student is known by name – not only to faculty – but also to staff, administrators and other students. As a free, public charter school we thrive with the support of our parent and family volunteers. We have a smaller community and can engage all of our HHCS family in every aspect of day-to-day student life.
Close-knit and Safe
Every HOPE for Hyndman Charter School student and staffer is respectful of and responsible to one another. We actively prepare our students for college and career by curating wrap-around services and awakening passionate learners with our focus on growth mindsets. We teach all core subject areas plus multiple electives and we foster an exciting, active student life at our close-knit, safe school. We graduate responsible, educated future leaders who are lifelong learners, ready to contribute to society. We proudly educate every K-12 Hyndman area child safely and securely in our small community-based school.
