Holistic Education for Every Student
HHCS is a caring public school for grades K-12. Our positive and respectful school culture is the key to our success and our students’ academic achievements. We strive to meet every individual’s needs including social, physical and intellectual.
Our vision is to be an educational organization that:
Provides education for the person as a whole
Designs individualized instruction based on passions, interests, and needs
Encourages support and participation from local businesses and community members
Our K-12 public school embraces a holistic approach to education. Our students explore their abilities academically, socially, and athletically. Our students pursue their individual passions -- and we do everything we can to support each unique student in our school. We love to celebrate every personal learning journey from K-12!
Physical Learning
Soccer, volleyball, cross country. Basketball, wrestling. Baseball, softball, tennis. Our Hornets are able to enjoy a robust athletic program and all that comes with it. Soft skills like leadership, team work, and collaboration. Physical training like endurance, agility, hand eye coordination, flexibility and strength.
Fantastic Educators
Our teachers are the heart and soul of our school community. From Mr. Stahlman for music, to Mrs. Haines in Special Education, to Mr. Williams, our beloved PE and Health teacher, our faculty allow us to truly focus on wellness in every sense of the word.
Field trips, Yearbook club, Book Fairs, and Fun Day. We never miss a chance to explore together -- whether it’s a love of reading, enjoying our community, or dressing up to show our school spirit. Our small, safe, close-knit K-12 public school sets a high bar for personal goals and we strive together to enable every student to meet their dreams head on!
Dual Enrollment and More
We want every HHCS student to be a productive member of society. We encourage passions, dual enrollment, online learning, voc tech and more -- to bring futures into today. There’s nothing our Hornets can’t do. And that’s why so many go on to colleges and persist while there. They are prepared and ready for the academic challenges -- and have the life skills needed -- to grab their dreams!
